'Would highly recommend! I absolutely loved the evening you came to mine. I was a little sceptical at first due the small size of my lounge, but it made for a wonderfully intimate and warm evening... perfect for the cold nights ahead. Can't wait to host again soon!' - Charlie
‘The house gig that I hosted for Neil was probably the best event I’ve ever had at the house - everyone is still talking about it! It was easy to organise, Neil’s music works really well in that setting and it was a good excuse to bring together lots of different friends.’ - Sarah
‘This may seem like a rather alien idea but I can assure you it makes for a wonderful evening. Friends and family in an intimate setting, doing something a bit different. It’s not everyday you can say you’re having a gig in your house! Neil is warm and engaging and his material is original and from the heart, (it’s also very, very good). It makes for a really special night. Go for it, you definitely won’t regret it!’ - Dan
Hosting A House Gig
What's required for hosting a house gig:
If you are considering hosting a Brave New Broken Hearts Club house gig… thank you very much! It's a truly lovely way to spend an evening with friends; here's what's involved:
You invite as many of your friends/neighbours/colleagues as you can comfortably fit into your front room and I will come and entertain them with an hour (usually in two 30mins sets with a short break) of original unamplified material.
There is no fee for hosts - all I ask is that you add a note on the invitation to let your guests know that If they enjoy the evening a donation on the door on the way out would be appreciated. If you could also do your best to remind people on the evening too…
Invite as many friends as you can and get the invites out early!
Here is a link that you can send with your email to let people know what you're inviting them to!
That’s it!
